Our MickeyBlogger is at Disney Springs today, checking out the new menu items that debuted for Celebrate Soulfully. Let’s take a look at the savory offering that just landed!
Chicken Jambalaya Dog
The Chicken Jambalaya Dog comes with smoked sausage, roasted corn, and lemon caper aioli. It’s served on a Tuscan roll with chips on the side, for $11.99.
This dish was created by Chef Twon, in honor of his mother. As described in the sign, “While raising 12 children, she utilized creativity in cooking great-tasting meals to feed her family.”
“One meal that she loved to serve was a Chicken Jambalaya Stew, which was made as a one-pot dish over rice. This meal has been reinvented here as a delicious sandwich.”
As our MickeyBlogger, Ed walked up to place his order, he noticed a gentleman taking a picture beside the sign.
He soon realized that it was none other than the Chef that invented this very recipe!
What a serendipitous moment! We were able to capture Chef Twon holding up his delicious looking menu item!
